Manchmal frage ich mich, wie sich eigentlich die Kids in den von Krieg zerstörten Ländern so alles in ihrer Freizeit treiben. Viele Möglichkeiten bleiben ihnen da leider nicht. Deswegen freut es mich sehr, von diesem Projekt hier zu erfahren. Skateistan ist eine Vereinigung bzw. ein Charity-Projekt, in dem es junge Skateheads nach Afghanistan zieht.
Skateistan: To Live And Skate Kabul is a beautifully shot film that
follows the lives of a group of young skateboarders in Afghanistan. Operating against the backdrop of war and bleak prospects, the Skateistan charity project is the world’s first co-educational skateboarding school, where a team of international volunteers work with girls and boys between the ages of 5 and 17, an age group largely untouched by other aid programmes.
Willy ist so etwas wie der Chef hier und liebt diesen ganzen Webkram über alles. Außerdem steht er auf Tattoos und Borussia Dortmund.
